Build a Race Car at Home Depot

Build a Race Car
Saturday March 2nd
9am - 12pm

Home Depot is having a FREE workshop this Saturday, March 2nd from 9am to noon at all Home Depot stores. They are geared towards children age 5-12, but the younger children will likely need some help from you.

The workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while at the same time helping to instill a sense of accomplishment. Additionally, this fun time allows for quality one-on-one time between adults and children.

In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates' aprons, and an achievement pin.

Coming Soon Brave from Disney Pixar

This summer Disney Pixar's Brave will hit theaters.  Here is a little peak of what you will see.

Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.

The film takes aim at theaters on June 22, 2012, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.
