About Us/Media KIt

Fun Things To Do With Kids was started to help inform parents and families about events, travel ideas, discounts, products and items that can help make our lives as parents easier. Fun Things was originally started in a suburb of Philadelphia as a blog in 2008 called Fun Things To Do With Kids In Delaware County it features local family friendly activities for parents and kids. Since then, we have expanded to Facebook and Twitter and now has a loyal following as one of the largest resources for activities in the area. In 2009, we started Fun Things To Do With Kids, to help families all over the United States to find ideas to do with kids.  Fun Things recently launched Fun Things To Do With Kids In Chester County,

What has become known as “Fun Things” is managed by Tracey Gilligan, a resident of the suburbs of Philadelphia Pennsylvania and owner of ASocialMediamanager.com, a social media firm that specializes in social media management and consultant services for small and mid-sized companies.

Tracey also write about frugal family fun for Philadelphia Examiner Tracey a former teacher and now a mother of two  started the blog because she found it difficult to find local activities to do with her kids. She decided to start a blog that would list all of the activities she knew of, with hopes that others parents would add to the list.

Tracey and her family have been seen all over the East Cost participating in family friendly activities and posting their fun on the site.  So you never know when she may show up with her Flip video camera!
